What's a place you want to travel to?

>>

The world of dreams

>>

Nowhere, i want money just to have money

>>

Sadly, it's the state of things. You'd think this thread isn't so bad, but in reality there will probably never be any substantial replies. I myself don't know what to reply. Where would I like to travel? Honestly I don't give a fuck, I don't wanna travel. I want to dig up some hole at the edge of the world and live there by myself so I am finally left the fuck alone.

>>7584 awe man i wanna travel all over the place. of course i'd always love to go back to Japan, but next time i'd like to do more nature sightseeing. i'd love to travel Europe, especially Italy and Germany. if i do go to Germany (or somewhere close) i wanna try a proper schnitzel so bad. honestly, i'm down to travel to most places as long as they're safe and not too hot. so far i've already been to Japan, England, and France (Paris specifically). as well as quite a bit to the American south.

>>

>>7584 Out of this reality and to a more balanced one or to jump to a different string of this one where it's all the same but not so evil

>>

I'd like to visit small towns in my state. Maybe go to the beach as well. Obviously Japan, that's for sure, but I'm unsure where in Japan I'd like to go. There should be a guide on Touhou pilgrimage locations. Obviously there's Suwa Shrine, but I'd like to visit places related to other characters as well.

>>

>>7584 heaven. or maybe hell. we'll see.

>>

>>7584 honestly vietnam is a great place to visit. I went when I was a kid and I want to go back

>>

>>7584 North pole, i wanna see me some penguins

>>

>>7584 Tamriel

>>7584 Tamriel

>>7584 I've been to Japan and it seemed like a little China, so now I want to go to China and see a big Japan. I also want to go to North Korea and Russia as they seem stuck in time, especially NK. The ultimate chud pilgrimage

>>

I have trouble thinking of specific places, but I'd like to visit a variety of climates and see all the different forms that nature can take. I'm not a people person at all so it would be difficult to actually get there unless personal teleportation is invented soon.

>>

>>7598 I'll see you in hell

>>

>>7584 i want to go back to Japan. i feel like i did not experience enough the first time i went. mainland Europe would be fun too, albeit i don't know exactly where. i want to try real schnitzel. i have no interest in visiting the Middle East or Africa.

>>

wait i already replied to this thread i am dumb

>>

>>8204 I went to Europe once and seeing the alps was pretty amazing. I also had some schnitzel that was really good but it came with some french fries that were not very good. Did you enjoy your first trip to Japan? What would you do if you went on a second trip?

>>

>>7584 it's always been a dream of mine to go to scotland

>>8276 for the record, >>7590 is my post too. i LOVED my first trip to Japan. i've liked anime and such for a long time but i never really had the desire to stay in Japan or learn the language or anything until i actually went. it's absolutely wonderful. when i go on a second trip i'd like to do more natural sightseeing. i went to some shrines which were beautiful, but much of my first trip was just seeing the major cities in the Tokyo area, and a bit in Kyoto/Osaka. i think my friends and i just need to plan our trip better. what was the schnitzel like?

>>

>>8294 It's been quite a while so the details are a little hazy, but I remember it being thin and tender. It kind of reminded me of a country fried steak if you've ever had one. Another interesting food experience in Germany was this McDonald's item called Big Roesti. It was a hamburger that had cheese sauce, bacon, and a hashbrown patty (roesti). Pretty excessive even for a fast food item. I also got served this huge potato dumpling that looked uncannily like a peeled potato at a pub. If I ever went to Japan, I definitely would want to do some natural sightseeing and hike some mountains or explore the ocean. I once visited Seoul and it blew my mind that there were small mountains you could summit in the middle of the city. The place where I live is landlocked and super flat so it's really boring nature wise.

>>

>>7584 Japan of course but there are other countries, maybe Europe? China I'm also interested in, it seems very interesting

>>

>>8389 wow, that McDonalds item does seem a bit much. i'm not really a fast food person though. however, Japanese McDonalds has a shrimp filet sandwich that was pretty tasty. the place i live has lots of pretty nature and some of the largest freshwater bodies in the world, so at least i can enjoy that. Japanese nature is different and beautiful in its own way though.

Osaka

>>

>>7584 1. Africa to find indigenous african wizards and study their ways, learning swahili and somali and maybe some other local languages along the way, studying rare crafts and arts, but I also want to visit normal towns and cities. 2: India to find an ancient village whose 1000 years old chief would tutor me on sanskrit and forgotten gods, with that I would be able to discover hidden underground temples made of pure gold and find the legendary rigveda interface .

>>7584 Japan. Wow, I know. But it would (will) be my third time there, so I already have seen all the classics (and lived in the bigger cities). Less known/more specific places would be: -The area of Asuka (nowadays Nara and its surroundings). Where the first imperial household was located. I was only for a day recently and the region blew me away. Beautiful antique shrines, giant toriis in the middle of rice paddies, some of the strangest monuments in all of Japan (Masuda no Iwafune being one of them) and a certain feeling I haven't found anywhere else in Japan. -Okinawa: I was already there and I loved it for all the wrong reasons: small, few things to see, ugly architecture, and the highest confluence of ghost apparitions in the world. Also its own culture and people I couldn't help falling in love with. Can't forget the Yonaguni Ruins, an absolute must for me. -Akita: In the Tohoku area, which has been in my radar for quite long and will absolutely visit. Few tourists, lots of nature and remains of ancient culture... it's high on my list for a place to live in in the future (supposing I actually like it). -Hokkaido. See above. A bit more touristy, though. Kyoto deserves a special mention. Lived there twice, could stay my whole life and probably never run out of new discoveries to make. My favourite city in the world, as of now. I would also like to visit the UK. Go to Whales, Scotland, and especially Glastonbury and more ancient dolmens and the likes through the territory tourists probably don't know much about.
